How information is handled through this website, its enquiry channels and the private owner control room.
Last updated
This notice covers bordohautotech.com.au and its private website control room, operated by Bordoh Auto Tech, ABN 44 912 952 006. It does not describe the separate Bordoh Operations customer-management app.
Website booking intake is currently closed. The prepared booking form and booking email remain disabled. Publishing this notice does not open bookings or activate a new service.
When you contact us by email, telephone, SMS or WhatsApp, we may receive your name, contact details, service location, vehicle or equipment details, registration or fleet reference, fault description and any photographs you choose to send. Please provide only what is relevant; do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents through a general enquiry.
If website booking intake is enabled in future, its form is prepared to record your requested service, preferred attendance date and time, contact consent and a request reference. A request is not a confirmed appointment. You can ask a general question without giving all these details, but we may be unable to assess or follow up an enquiry without sufficient information.
We use information to respond to correspondence, understand requested work, maintain enquiry records, protect the website and manage privacy requests. If services become available, relevant details may also be used to agree scope, arrange attendance and maintain service, invoice or legally required records.
We do not sell personal information. Website records are restricted to authorised access; they are not published in the journal, sitemap or search feeds. Private drafts require review before publication or use.
Cloudflare provides website hosting, database and access-protection services. Technical data such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and security events may be processed for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.
The owner signs in through Google and Cloudflare Access. The control room records the authorised owner identity and activity such as editing, publication and connection checks. Essential sign-in cookies and short-lived connection-security cookies support these functions. Ordinary visitors do not need to connect a Google or social account to read the website.
The private control room can use OpenAI to prepare journal, advertising and enquiry-response drafts. For an owner-approved request or an enabled scheduled drafting routine, the selected brief and, for journal work, relevant existing article titles are sent to OpenAI. This is not an automatic transfer of the entire customer database.
Owners are instructed not to include identifying customer details. The website also attempts to remove email addresses and phone numbers from the brief, but this does not guarantee anonymity. Generated drafts, usage information and review status are stored in the website database. AI output may be inaccurate and does not itself send a reply, confirm a booking, publish content or launch an advert.
OpenAI processes requests under its applicable service terms and privacy policy. Do not assume that using an AI feature means the provider retains no technical or security records.
Providers used for this website include Cloudflare for hosting, security and database services; GitHub for private source storage and encrypted website backups; Google for owner sign-in and an authorised YouTube connection; and OpenAI for approved AI drafting. Email, telephone and messaging providers also process communications sent through their services.
These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Australia. We have not established an Australia-only processing arrangement or a complete country-by-country list for every provider and subprocessor. Contact us if you need more information before sharing personal information. Provider details are available in the Cloudflare privacy policy, GitHub privacy statement and Google Privacy Policy.
The owner-only control room uses YouTube API Services to verify the authorised Bordoh Auto Tech channel. Its current permission is read-only. It accesses and stores the channel ID and name, verification time and owner association, with an encrypted authorisation credential for later account checks. It does not upload videos, post comments or publish social content.
This connection is for the business owner, not website visitors. The channel identity is shown in the private control room; the connection is not used to give OpenAI access to the YouTube account. YouTube connection records and authorisation credentials are excluded from the website’s GitHub backup export.
The owner can disconnect in the control room to remove the active website credential and saved channel identity. Disconnecting here does not revoke the grant at Google: use Google account permissions to revoke access there as well. Contact us to request removal of any remaining associated records. Security audit events and provider-managed recovery copies are separate from the active connection record.
Read the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service for how those services handle information.
Live enquiry, draft and activity records do not all have an automatic deletion date. Retention and removal require a review of the record’s purpose, any outstanding enquiry, security needs and applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion using the contact details below; we will explain any information we need to retain.
Encrypted website-database exports are configured for 30-day retention in the private GitHub repository. This is a backup-retention setting, not a promise that all live records are deleted after 30 days. Removing a live record does not immediately remove copies from existing backups. Cloudflare database-recovery copies and external email or messaging records have separate retention arrangements.
The website can save eligible public pages, images, styles and scripts in your browser to support offline reading. Its offline cache checks a seven-day freshness limit when using saved content. Cached public content can be older than the online version.
Private control-room pages, API responses and booking submissions are not placed in this public offline cache. Enquiries are not queued for later sending while offline. You can remove saved website content using your browser’s site-data controls; this does not delete information already sent to us. Limited session storage is also used to recover from a page-loading error.
Choosing an email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp or social link opens the relevant external service, whose own privacy practices apply. A link to a profile or business listing is not the same as granting the control room access to that account.
The current website release does not include advertising pixels or behavioural-advertising scripts. Preparing advertising copy does not activate ad tracking or a paid campaign. Google Ads and Meta account integrations are not active in the control room. Other provider connections require separate owner authorisation; the website does not treat an available connection option as proof that access has been granted.
For access, correction or deletion requests, or questions about our privacy practices, email enquiries@bordohautotech.com.au or call 0468 010 402. Please describe the information and action concerned. We may need proportionate information to verify that we are dealing with the correct person.
If you have a concern, contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If it remains unresolved, you can seek guidance or make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where applicable.
We will update this notice when relevant website information-handling practices change. The date above identifies this version. A notice update does not by itself enable bookings, new account permissions or advertising.
